4th of July BOAT PARADE

The MLA is proud to plan and promote the Mascoma Lake 4th of July Boat Parade once again, happening Tuesday, July 4th, at 3pm.  Rob Malz has taken over the organizing and the route plan is as follows:

- gather in the rope swing cove along the rail trail, north east shore of the lake, before 3:00.  Then the parade will proceed north along shore, cut across to the Baited Hook side and proceed south along the west shore.  Crossing under the bridge, parade will cut to the islands (in front of and not behind them) and complete the clockwise loop along the east shore to the head of the lake to the west shore heading north back to the bridge.

Boats and humans in fabulous costumes will be welcomed, celebrated and judged - at four points on the lake so this encourages all to stay with the full parade.  Expect some spectacular prizes!
