Volunteering

Volunteers are needed to keep our lake pristine for recreation and living.  Whatever your interest and time availability, we have a need for you.  The following is a list of opportunities for you to become involved:

Weed watching: an ongoing task June through September, no experience needed, we will train. Contact us via email below if you would like to help us with this critical effort. Takes only a couple hours over the summer and you can enjoy being on the lake while you are doing it. The more eyes we have looking for these plants, the more sucessful we can be at keeping it in check.

If you are interested and have some time to  help with the removal of Eurasian Milfoil and are a certified scuba diver, let us know. We can help you get the advanced training required in Weed Removal and you could join our S.W.A.T. team (submerged weed attack team) We can use more divers!!!

Loon Census: Saturday, 7/15/2017 from 8-9 am, organizer Terri Lynch

Water testers: VLAP water testing scheduled for three Tuesdays in 2017 - June, July and August.  Starting at 9 a.m., takes about 2 hours. Contact Jim Martel if interested in helping
